Our clubhouse features a welcoming bar and grill, serving golfers and community members alike. We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to join our team, providing excellent service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Job Summary : Azusa Greens Golf Course is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bartender / Server to join our clubhouse team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who excels at both crafting beverages and providing attentive table service. You will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests, whether they're finishing a round of golf or simply enjoying a meal.
Responsibilities :
- Guest Service : Greet guests warmly, take food and drink orders accurately, and serve items promptly and courteously.
- Bartending : Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. This includes mixing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and ensuring proper portioning.
- Food Service : Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables, ensuring presentation standards are met and special requests are accommodated.
- Order Management : Utilize POS system efficiently for order entry, processing payments, and managing tabs.
- Menu Knowledge : Possess a thorough understanding of all food and beverage menu items, including daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
- Cash Handling : Accurately handle cash, process credit card transactions, and manage end-of-shift reconciliations.
- Bar & Dining Area Maintenance : Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining tables, chairs, and overall serving space. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and light cleaning duties.
- Inventory & Stocking : Assist with stocking the bar, ensuring beverages, glassware, and other supplies are readily available. Report low stock levels as needed.
- Customer Satisfaction : Anticipate guest needs, address concerns promptly and professionally, and strive to exceed expectations.
- Compliance : Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to alcohol service, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
- Teamwork : Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, other servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Opening / Closing Duties : Perform assigned opening and closing duties, which may include setting up / breaking down dining areas, cleaning equipment, and securing inventory.
