Amatus Health is seeking compassionate and dependable day shift Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team. As a BHT, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey by helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

High School Diploma or GED required
CDCA required
Valid Driver's License required
Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Assist with client admissions, orientations, and transportation needs.
Monitor client activities and maintain a safe treatment environment.
Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition.
Conduct routine client accountability checks and monitor family visits.
Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary.
Complete shift reports, documentation, and daily checklists.
Support medical and clinical staff as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
Protect client privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and all applicable federal and state laws.
