Crouse’s  Addiction Treatment Services  team provides a comprehensive system of assessment and treatment services for individuals with substance-use disorders. The Addiction Treatment team is hiring a  Behavioral Health Therapist .

The Behavioral Health Therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team that is stationed at the Department of Social Services. This position is primarily responsible for providing substance-use and mental health assessments and referral services. The position requires strong communication skills and an ability to successfully work on an interagency team.

Pay Range : $33.00-$37.38 / hour.

Schedule : Full-Time, Days, 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm

Responsibilities :

• Performs Mental Health and Substance Use assessments.
• Coordinates with treatment providers and Department of Social Services team members regarding patients care needs.
• Accurately documents all patient interactions and results using the appropriate form(s).
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of mental health and addiction research.
• Actively develops relationships with DSS team members.
• Properly develops recommendations for each client. As needed consults with treatment providers involved in the client’s care.
• Professionally presents cases for supervision following existing policies and procedures; confidently responds to input and direction of department Supervisor and onsite team lead.
• Consistently maintains standards of professional conduct and adheres to the Canon of Ethics for the respective field of care.
• Promptly consults with Supervisor upon identification of potential Psychiatric emergencies.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership.
