Ability to negotiate effectively with carriers for optimal solutions. High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Experience with online enrollment portals. Willingness to travel to client sites for enrollment meetings. Experience with EPIC agency management is a plus. A minimum of two years in group health insurance or benefits brokerage / consulting. Life and Health Insurance license required.
Position : Benefits Account Manager - Insurance
Join our dynamic team where we prioritize employee satisfaction, offer flexible working hours, and a competitive compensation package. We’re looking for an organized and motivated individual with knowledge of various insurance carriers to manage our Employee Benefits sector.
Primary Job Purpose :
Oversee an assigned block of Employee Benefits business, including fully insured and level funded accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare comprehensive pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing reports.
- Analyze health plan benefits and costs for optimal solutions.
- Calculate employee contributions and develop strategies that align with client budgets.
- Create annual client service plans to enhance client relationships.
- Facilitate annual open enrollment meetings, health fairs, and webinars.
- Gather new client information for our HIB technology offerings.
- Draft correspondence, communication materials, and compliance notices as needed.
- Negotiate competitive rates and benefits with insurance carriers.
- Perform additional duties as required.
