▪ 2-3 years of QA experience is required (experience in BI / DW implementations a plus)
▪ Hands-on knowledge of SQL (any SQL database engine is ok)
▪ Data transformation / manipulation testing (SQL scripting)
▪ Data quality / completeness validation (SQL scripting)
▪ Working knowledge and testing experience of ETL
▪ PowerBI / SSRS QA Experience
▪ Data reasonability testing
▪ Experience with any Test Management Tool
▪ Experience with creation of Test Plan / completion.
▪ Research and document the root cause for output issues and identify which areas are not in sync
▪ Assist in verifying that corrections have been made by development prior to the release cycle.
▪ Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff and other stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities :
▪ Backlog Management, Project and Support Deliverables, Adoption, Documented Test Cases.
▪ In-depth understanding with Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence concepts from QA perspective
▪ Create and maintain complex SQL queries such as type 2 triggers, all types of joins, aggregations, groupings etc...
▪ Play an active role in release planning and be the voice of QA for the product.
▪ Data quality / completeness validation (SQL scripting)
▪ Working knowledge and testing experience of ETL
▪ Data mapping validation
▪&nbs p; Data reasonability testing
▪ Analyze BI / Performance Analytics Reports and Dashboards to ensure that client data and report outputs are in sync with the source data.
