TekSystems is currently hiring for a few medical billers in the Virginia Beach area! These positions are HYBRID! MUST HAVE : Any medical AR follow up billing experience! Experience with Excel! Ability to start quickly!

Senior Biller

Sentara is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Biller for a short-term assignment lasting approximately 34 months. This role involves managing invoice processing and related administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include :

• Print and organize invoices from the billing system.
• Generate and prepare 550 tax forms.
• Sort, group, and package invoices for mailing or delivery to the commercial team.
• Ensure proper documentation and batch entry management.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout all billing processes.
• Directly supporting Individual Plan, Group Plans, and a limited number of government programs.
• Currently working in CSC is their main system - but switching to Whipro & QNext.

Billing Analyst

We are seeking a Billing Analyst with strong analytical and Excel skills to join our billing team. This role goes beyond traditional data entry and involves managing complex billing processes for individual plans, group plans, and a limited number of governmental programs. A background in billing and familiarity with health insurance is highly preferred. Key responsibilities include :

Form 5500 is an annual report that certain employers must file with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide information about their employee benefit plans. This is a document that they provide to companies to prove they have health insurance for their employees for a period of time.

What Is Form 5500? It's used to report financial, investment, and operational details of employee benefit plans, including :

Required under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Internal Revenue Code.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
