[job_card.job_description]PhD (1+ year industry) or MSc (3+ years industry). Strong experience with digital PCR (dPCR – QIAGEN QIAcuity). Demonstrated expertise in molecular cloning. Proven experience developing and validating dPCR and qPCR assays. Familiarity with lentivirus or retrovirus systems and mammalian cell lines.

Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist (Molecular Biology) :
- Develop, optimize, and validate molecular biology methods for gene and cell therapy applications (e.g., VCN, gene editing proficiency, genomic titer, RCL, residual DNA).
- Perform molecular cloning, DNA plasmid purification, and in vitro transcription to generate assay controls.
- Design, execute, and analyze digital PCR (dPCR) and qPCR assays using QIAGEN QIAcuity systems.
- Support assay development through CRISPR-based screen optimization and molecular assay validation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support QC testing and contract research service projects.
