Position Summary : The Embedded Tutor supports both students and instructors in courses at Johnson County Community College.

Key responsibilities include guiding students through coursework or lab experiments assisting with content related to the course work or lab experiments ensuring student engagement enforcing classroom guidelines or lab safety protocols and completing other duties as requested by the course instructor and supervisor.

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma with successful completion of successful completion of at least BIOL 135.

Familiarity with specific coursework or lab techniques used in the assigned class or laboratory.

Must be enrolled in and maintain at least 3 credit hours at JCCC and 2.5 cumulative GPA through the duration of employment in the position.

Good communication skills including the ability to listen understand and demonstrate patience when working with students.
