They work closely with owners, consultants, and trade partners to ensure every project aligns with client needs for budget, functionality, schedule, and long‑term value. Your new role As Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting preconstruction management across a diverse range of projects. In the role, you will contribute to conceptual and detailed estimating, perform quantity takeoffs, coordinate subcontractor pricing, and prepare budgets and proposals. Working closely with senior leadership, project managers, and business development teams, you will help shape cost strategies, support constructability reviews, and provide valuable input during early client engagement. An excellent opportunity for a mid‑level estimator to contribute in a collaborative design‑build environment from early planning through contract award. What you'll need to succeed This general contractor is seeking candidates with 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor in institutional,mercial, and / or light industrial construction. Professionalsing from a Developer‑Builder background will also be considered. A post‑secondary education in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is ideal. Experience with design‑build delivery is preferred but not essential. Exposure to out‑of‑town projects, own‑force crews, and pre‑engineered steel systems will be considered strong assets. You will bring a solid understanding of construction drawings, scopes, general conditions, and trade interfaces, along with strongmunication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
