Role Overview : As a busser, you will play a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house team by ensuring that the dining area is always clean, organized, and welcoming. Prompt, professional table service is expected from you and your attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service will help maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities :
- Table Maintenance : Assist in setting and resetting tables, ensuring they are following the cleaning standards and are properly arranged, and ready for guests.
- Cleaning Duties : Clear dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and supporting the overall flow of service.
- Assisting Servers : Support servers by refilling water, delivering bread or appetizers, and helping with any additional tasks to enhance the guest experience.
- Floor Management : Monitor the dining area for any spills or debris, ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests and staff, paying close attention to bathrooms.
- Ongoing Maintenance : ensure that the entire dining area, including tables, windows, floors, lighting, furniture, and fixtures, are always clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service execution, communicating effectively to address guest needs promptly.
- Guest Interaction : Greet guests warmly and assist them with any inquiries or requests, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
- Restocking Supplies : Help maintain stock levels of utensils, napkins, and other dining essentials to ensure the team is well-prepared for service.
