Summary

The Monitor Tech provides appropriate telemetry monitoring based on patient’s age and rhythm. Demonstrates knowledge of arrhythmia identification and analysis. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION : High School graduate or equivalent. Completion of an ECG course is required if no previous monitor tech experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Previous monitor tech experience

REQUIRED COURSES / COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR) : Basic Dysrhythmia Competency within 30 days of hire
