Overview

CoBank interns get real-life exposure to the daily duties of their group. They spend the summer as a valued member of their respective team, learning business skills and assisting with a variety of projects that have an impact on the bank’s operations. An additional focus of the summer intern will be to complete a capstone project that will seek to add value to the team they are supporting.

Job Description

Business Continuity Intern will be responsible for assisting with the enterprise-wide disaster preparedness of CoBank to ensure that the bank’s mission is always achieved. This includes assessing risk in various areas, designing and participating in exercises and being an integral part of the business continuity planning process. This position will also be exposed to the latest in emergency notification technology, disaster preparedness methodologies, and cyber-attack readiness.

This is a paid position for undergraduate and graduate students and is located in Denver, Colorado.

Basic Qualifications

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in and working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Emergency Management, Safety or Disaster Preparedness, or a related disclipline and in good academic standing.
