Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Business Development for the Infrastructure Solutions business unit will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business on a regional scale with a specific focus large projects / AI Factories. This role involves identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and developing strategies to increase market share and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in a similar environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in global markets with a particular emphasis on Neocloud COLO and Hyperscale customers (AI Ecosystem)
  • Strategic customer engagement : Collaborate directly with strategic customers influencing their design decisions and securing Vertivs products as the basis of design.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape in the AI Ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account managers solution architects and product development marketing et to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and present business proposals reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Thought leadership : Represent Vertiv at industry events conferences and trade publications to showcase technical expertise and disseminate reference designs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development with a focus on global markets.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in the technology or infrastructure solutions industry.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages and cultural awareness.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • TRAVEL

  • Between 50 - 70% domestic travel
