Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Business Development for the Infrastructure Solutions business unit will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business on a regional scale with a specific focus large projects / AI Factories. This role involves identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and developing strategies to increase market share and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in a similar environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in global markets with a particular emphasis on Neocloud COLO and Hyperscale customers (AI Ecosystem)
- Strategic customer engagement : Collaborate directly with strategic customers influencing their design decisions and securing Vertivs products as the basis of design.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients partners and industry influencers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape in the AI Ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account managers solution architects and product development marketing et to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
- Prepare and present business proposals reports and presentations to senior management.
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities and adjust strategies as needed.
- Thought leadership : Represent Vertiv at industry events conferences and trade publications to showcase technical expertise and disseminate reference designs.
