Description
The Senior Credit Analyst position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting credit information for existing and prospective customers in order to assess credit quality and to minimize risk and potential loan loss. In addition to the general credit analyst responsibilities, the Senior Credit Analyst must also :
- Be knowledgeable on loan products with government guarantees or other applicable loan programs (SBA or FSA, etc.).
- Be responsible for sharing knowledge and mentoring other credit analysts.
- Make recommendations for loan structure and appropriate covenants.
- Have increased responsibility for complex entity transactions and reporting.
- Work with lenders primarily independently with minimal direction from leadership.
