The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Job Description Summary :

This role will support Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) reporting and other needed reporting within CenterWell's Primary Care Organization's Population Health Analytics Department. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Job Description :

This role will conduct RCM reporting initially out of Excel with the near future intention of converting this reporting to Power BI for a more automated process. While the role will primarily support RCM reporting, there will be opportunity to complete reporting projects for other parts of the business.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Technical experience in data analysis and reporting, especially using Microsoft Excel and / or Microsoft Power BI

1 or more years of experience in SQL and / or Snowflake

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Collaborative

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power BI

Revenue Cycle Management knowledge / reporting experience

In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc.

Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions

Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis

Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate PL-300 Certification

Resides in Louisville, KY

Additional Information :

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home / Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home / Office employees must meet the following criteria :

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home / Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position / job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel : While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$66,800 - $91,100 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
