We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Developer to join our team. As a Quantitative Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models and strategies to support our energy trading and risk management activities. You will work closely with our trading and risk management teams to develop and maintain robust models that support our decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quantitative models for energy trading and risk management, including pricing, hedging, and risk analysis models
- Collaborate with the trading and risk management teams to understand their needs and develop solutions to support their activities
- Conduct quantitative analysis and research to identify opportunities and risks in the energy markets
- Implement and maintain software systems to support the execution of trading strategies and risk management processes
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing models and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in quantitative modeling and risk management
- Communicate complex quantitative concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quantitative role, preferably in the energy or financial industry
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or C++
- Experience with quantitative modeling and data analysis techniques
- Knowledge of energy markets and trading strategies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position. The contract details will be discussed during the interview process.
