CAD Designer / Drafter Key Responsibilities : Using CAD software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects. Collaborating with engineers and other professionals on design concepts. Ensuring that all drawings and designs are in line with project specifications and guidelines. Using design software to revise, update, and correct drawings as necessary. Providing technical guidance and assistance to the team in the use of CAD software. Reviewing blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation if service is requested by the application engineer or project manager. Performing physical testing on engineering prototypes. Presenting and explaining designs to clients and stakeholders. Staying up-to-date on the latest design software and technology.
