Our Client is seeking a CAD Designer – Plastics / Foams / Structures for an extendable, W2-only, 9-month Contract position in Newark, CA. This position pays $37-47 / hr. W2.

Summary :

This position requires experienced professionals responsible for designing and developing seating components using Catia 3DX for a world-class vehicle in terms of both styling and function. Our ideal candidates exhibit a can-do attitude and approach their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. They will also act as mentors to more junior engineers.

Responsibilities :

• Be a significant contributor to a world-class seating team.
• Contribute to the packaging, engineering, release, and launch of seating components in the Client’s portfolio.
• Work with the DREs / Lead Engineers / Broader stakeholders to assure CAD is updated per team agreements and adherent to industry standards and design guidelines.
• Employ and develop effective tools and an innovative approach to supporting the development.
