A company is looking for a CAD Technician I to transform engineering concepts into detailed CAD drawings for gas pipeline projects.
Key Responsibilities
Convert rough sketches and verbal instructions into detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD
Draft structural details, plot profiles and cross-sections, and support field survey crews
Create preliminary and final sketches, as-built drawings, and revise drawings based on feedback
Required Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Design and Drafting Technology or a related field (preferred)
Experience in utility or pipeline drafting is a plus (preferred)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Meet deadlines effectively
