Job Description Cardiac Electrophysiology (Proctor Role)

Schedule & Coverage
Start Date : October 27, 2025
Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (no call)
Shift Type : Case-specific proctoring assignment
Cases : 10 ablation cases total five PVC and five atrial fibrillation
Schedule : Provider will be onsite only to serve as a proctor for another physician; not ongoing clinical coverage.

Practice Setting : Inpatient (hospital)
Support Staff : Existing hospital EP teams; provider is strictly proctoring cases
Patient Demographics : Adults
Average Cases : Limited to the 10 ablation procedures scheduled
Case Focus : PVC Ablations (x5)
Atrial Fibrillation Ablations (x5)
EMR : Cerner
Requirements
Board Certification : Required Electrophysiology
License : Texas license only (IMLC not accepted)
Certifications : Must be BC Electrophysiologist to qualify as a proctor
DEA / CSR : Not specified as provider is serving as a proctor only
Experience : Documented experience with PVC and AFib ablations
