Operations Supervisor, Cardiology

The Cardiac Testing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of cardiac diagnostic services at our Pomona and Rancho Cucamonga locations. This role ensures high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while leading a team of cardiac technicians and support staff.

This position will supervise cardiac testing facilities at both our Pomona and Rancho Cucamonga locations.

The Cardiac Testing Supervisor is responsible for :

• Supervising, training, and evaluating cardiac technicians and support staff across both locations, including scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
• Coordinating daily operations of the cardiac testing department, ensuring efficient workflow, equipment maintenance, and resource utilization.
• Implementing and maintaining quality control programs to ensure accuracy of cardiac diagnostic procedures and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensuring exceptional patient care through proper test preparation, education, and follow-up protocols.
• Effectively managing operations between Pomona and Rancho Cucamonga facilities, ensuring consistent protocols and service quality.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing departmental policies and procedures in accordance with current guidelines and best practices.
• Assisting in preparing and managing department budgets, including equipment acquisition and maintenance planning.
• Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and testing services.
• Ensuring departmental adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
• Overseeing the implementation and utilization of cardiac testing equipment and related technologies.

Required Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications :

The position requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and assist in patient positioning when necessary. Manual dexterity and visual acuity needed for equipment operation and patient assessment.

Work is performed in a clinical setting with exposure to patients with various health conditions. May require travel between Pomona and Rancho Cucamonga locations (approximately 15 miles apart).

Full-time position, Monday through Friday with rotating on-call responsibilities. May require occasional weekend coverage based on departmental needs.
