Job Purpose

The Carrier Representative is responsible for ensuring that all logistic orders are filled with transportation carriers in the most cost effective manner. The carrier representative continuously searches to increase RJW's carrier-base by sourcing out new carriers and building lasting business relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Books orders with carriers via phone, e-mail, and use of load posting services.

Keeps customers informed of order status and potential issues.

Sources new carriers via phone and use of load posting service.

Backs up Customer Service when needed.
