Mgr - BLS, ACLS, PSV / Nursys Mon-Friday The Cath Lab Clinical Nurse Manager's primary role for this position is to insure the Cath Lab has the ability to provide the highest quality patient care and customer service for the patient, physicians and staff. The Cath Lab Clinical Nurse Manager is also responsible for directing the clinical and administrative functions in the Cath lab, and supporting departments on a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week basis. The Cath Lab Clinical Nurse Manager demonstrates effective leadership skills, directing and interacting with all members of the patient care team to improve the level of care and ensure quality nursing care in a safe environment. He / She must be willing to provide real-time education and coaching to staff to improve practice and provide assistance when circumstances require additional hands-on. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Coordination of the clinical activities of the Cath lab to determine educational needs of the staff; and encouraging team effort, demonstrates effective leadership skills, working closely with the Patient Care Executive to fulfill the Mission, Vision and Values of Dameron Hospital. The position requires approximately 70% clinical time on the unit working with the staff and 30% to administrative activities at the direction of the Director / Manager. This person must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations, also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures. They also must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a non-union position. See Essential Job Functions.
