About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the strategic direction and execution of all commercial functions, with a primary focus on sales. The CCO will be responsible for driving the achievement of commercial objectives, establishing a scalable and sustainable commercial infrastructure, and ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration to optimize market penetration, clinical outcomes, and business growth. This executive leader will be accountable for U.S. revenue targets, building a high-performance sales organization, and fostering a results-driven sales culture. Key responsibilities include leading and managing all U.S. sales activities, building and scaling a high-performing salesforce, overseeing the development and execution of sales plans, and providing direct leadership to sales and clinical teams. The CCO will also be involved in developing go-to-market strategies, overseeing marketing initiatives, and building a medical education platform to support procedural adoption.
The ideal candidate for the CCO position at the company will have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in medical devices or healthcare, with a strong background in sales, marketing, clinical sales, and medical education. A deep understanding of spine or orthopedic markets is highly preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in scaling commercial organizations, launching disruptive medical technologies, and leading complex commercial operations. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to champion a culture of innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role requires a leader who can integrate clinical insights into commercial strategy, ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
