A police recruit is a temporary status for new employees while they complete the following :

Satisfactorily attend and complete the Basic Course in Applied Police Science (BCAPS also known as Basic Police Academy)

Candidate Engagement Plan

During our recruiting period we will conduct our Application Material Review weekly. Qualified candidates will be invited to schedule a Physical Fitness Test and complete a Personal History Statement (PHS) to be brought with them to their test. Following testing candidates will complete a Written Examination.

Pay Structure

Starting Hourly Rate : $39.27

Starting Hourly Rate Step 1 : $40.85
