Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is looking for a Staff Chief Engineer – Test in our SDS Division. This leadership role is located in Roy, Utah , and supports the Sentinel program. This role may also be located in; Huntsville, AL, Bellevue, NE, Colorado Springs, CO, or Manhattan Beach, CA.

What you'll get to do :

Deputy Chief Engineer providing leadership and technical expertise in the System Test disciplines towards the achievement of the Sentinel Program’s EMD goals.

• Lead the planning, development, and execution of EMD test activities
• Development and execution of long-range plans and strategies while providing the most effective Technology Solutions to the program
• Awareness of best practices and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on System Test analysis, test equipment development, design and Weapon System Integration
• Deploy architectures that aligns automation data integration with the Digital Engineering Environment
• Build technical roadmaps in support of program and organizational goals to achieve affordability and cost reduction initiative targets
• Apply and develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts
• Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range : $147,700.00 - $221,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
