We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling data, and supporting departmental and company-wide reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately record, reconcile, and compile financial data for departmental and company reporting.
- Apply accounting principles in cash applications, account adjustments / deletions, and reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support the Assistant Controller in producing, reconciling, and delivering timely financial statements and reports.
- Research and analyze financial data to support accounting procedures and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing consolidated internal and external financial statements.
- Monitor company inventory values and support warehouse operations through scheduled cycle counts and audit reconciliations.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries and assist with audits as needed.
- Manage assigned tasks and tickets in the company CRM system, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Controller, Controller, and other team members on month-end close processes and special projects.
