This role requires leadership skills to manage workloads, implement policies, and maintain high-quality service while working primarily overnight shifts. The position demands physical involvement with freight handling and emphasizes employee training, safety enforcement, and operational efficiency.
Hours : This position will primarily be an overnight position, M-F from 8 : 00 pm - 6 : 00 am
What you need to succeed as a Freight Operations Supervisor at XPO
Minimum qualifications :
- 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment
- Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations
- Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
