You will develop and execute high-impact revenue strategies, foster a thriving culture of philanthropy, and elevate Habitat’s brand presence in the region. With a fundraising target exceeding $5 million annually, you’ll play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission to expand access to affordable homeownership opportunities for individuals and families.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of fund development, providing inspiring leadership while ensuring the execution of a robust and effective strategy.
  • Cultivate key donor relationships, lead transformational fundraising efforts, and strengthen Habitat’s philanthropic partnerships.
  • Ensure fundraising and engagement efforts align with the organization’s long-term vision and impact.
  • Develop and implement bold, comprehensive fundraising strategies that drive revenue growth and financial sustainability.

  • Serve as a dynamic spokesperson and thought leader, advocating for affordable housing solutions and community development.
  • Ensure unified, compelling messaging across all communications and promotional channels to inspire donors and stakeholders.

Who you are:
  • CFRE certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience, including major gifts and multi-year campaigns.
  • 4+ years of executive-level management experience in nonprofit development, marketing, or philanthropy.
  • Demonstrated success in securing transformational 5-7 figure gifts and building lasting donor relationships.
  • Expertise in corporate partnerships, grant development, and planned giving strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of community engagement, marketing, and donor cultivation best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRMs, Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, and marketing software.
  • Exceptional public speaking and storytelling abilities, with a passion for advocacy.
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences with authenticity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.

What we offer:
  • Generous benefits, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 14 paid company holidays, flexible vacation, sick leave, paid family leave, flexible spending account, health savings account, life and disability insurance; Employee Assistance Programs; and 403(b) and SEP savings plans.
  • Vibrant company culture with a focus on innovation and growth.
  • Projects you work on have high visibility and directly impact the families we serve.
