Key Responsibilities :

• Curriculum Development and Implementation : Lead teachers plan and implement activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children's ages and needs, incorporating foundational skills like colors, shapes, letters, and numbers.  Classroom Management : They organize and manage the classroom environment, ensuring it is clean, safe, and conducive to learning.  Supervision : They supervise and guide assistant teachers, teacher aides, and volunteers, ensuring they understand and follow classroom procedures and policies.  Child Assessment : They observe and assess each child's development, identifying areas of strength and areas where additional support may be needed.  Parent Communication : They maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.  Safety and Well-being : They prioritize the safety and well-being of all children in their care, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment.  Professional Development : They stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.  Mentorship : Lead teachers often act as mentors to other staff members, providing guidance and support in their roles.  Powered by JazzHR
