job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSeeks to passionately creating a culture of worship within the entire body of Charity Church; not limited to Worship team. Leads worship weekly in Main sanctuary while allowing room and opportunities for other lead worshippers to be developed and to gain experience. Mentors, disciples and leads our Worship ministries which include Lead Worshippers, Frontline vocalist, instrumentalist and work with Productions Director. Plans and creates service schedules and flow for all sanctuary-based services on a weekly basis. This includes all portions of the service from start to finish. Is responsible to collaborate and communicate to all involved and distribute schedule to all positions. Maintains Planning Center to ensure all needed resources and files are available for Worship Ministries. Creates and maintains accurate rostering for Worship Ministries in Planning Center. Plans Special services ie : Easter, Candlelight, etc working closely with Pastor and entire staff to coordinate all pieces fitting together well. Plans and Conducts Worship Ministries rehearsals 3X a month. Researches new music for our congregation and targets new songs monthly to teach and roll out to congregation. Prepares all Music, charts, chords and lyrics as needed - including all notations on music in Planning Center Prepares and delivers a weekly devotional for Worship Ministries team. Oversees and ensures that licensing for rights to songs, video, and photos are current. Report as deemed necessary by the CCLI. Maintains Praise Charts Data base. Ensures that all Audio and Video equipment and instruments are current, legal and in working order. Is responsible to have replaced and / or repaired prior to next service in coordination with the Productions Director Always Recruiting and oversees training and equipping of new members to Worship ministries. Conduct one on one interviews with every new member of Worship Ministries. Share the vision, mission, and expectations of our team clarifying this is a leadership role in the house. Shepherd and disciple team in their faith journey and provide spiritual councel team members Seeks out and provides resources and opportunities for team members to be strengthened in their abilities, calling, and skill such as classes, workshops, one on one coaching, exposure to new music, etc. Purpose to build and develop worship leaders. Establish accountability with local network of leaders. Continue being a student, furthering your personal education, be mentored and a mentor. 5 years leading as a Worship Pastor in a church +. Be very proficient at Planning Center services Proficient in Multi-tracks, Ableton, Able to vocally lead in worship from an instrument proficiently Demonstrated ability to lead a congregation into meaningful worship. Demonstrated ability to lead a team of musicians in unity of spirit and musicianship Proficient in vocal strength, clarity, and skill Proficient in reading music and also able to play by chord charts and Nashville number system Demonstrated ability to develop worship leaders Believes in and is Biblically aligned with the core beliefs and values of Charity Church as expressed in our Constitution and By-Laws. Able to speak / sing / play confidently in a public forum Physically able to engage in enthusiastic worship Able to move freely in and out of different settings (homes, churches, businesses, worship venues)
