We are looking for swim instructors who want to make a difference. SwimRVA is committed to Drownproofing Richmond and needs your help to teach every child and every adult in the region to swim! We have flexible scheduling and multiple locations to choose from. We are dedicated to developing our participants into confident, life-long swimmers. We want you on our team to help SAVE LIVES through aquatics!

The mission of SwimRVA is to elevate swimming in the Richmond region making water safety and aquatic fitness more accessible to all. SwimRVA believes our strength and impact is driven by our people. We invest in the growth and development of our team members in order to grow our impact.

The SwimRVA Swim Instructor job duties :

  • Manage a wet classroom consistent with SwimRVA's unique teaching platform
  • Effectively teach swimming skills and water safety to children and adults
  • Creatively incorporate diverse and fun activities into lessons
  • Assess participants swimming skills for appropriate station placement and advancement

Qualifications :

  • A positive attitude and work ethic
  • A love for teaching, water and aquatics programing
  • A desire to grow professionally through aquatics
