A highly regarded litigation practice is seeking an experienced associate to join its Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a strong background in maritime and / or trucking defense matters.

What You’ll Do :

Manage all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial preparation

Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances

Work directly with clients to provide strategic legal advice and defense strategies

Collaborate with a team of skilled litigators in a supportive environment

What We’re Looking For :

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

5+ years of civil litigation experience (maritime and / or trucking defense preferred)

Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills

Team-oriented, with excellent communication and client service skills
