State Compensation Insurance Fund's Legal Lien team is seeking to fill a Senior Lien Representative (Sr. Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster) position or a Lien Representative (Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster) position.
At State Fund, our Senior Legal Lien Representatives / Legal Lien Representatives provide representation, consultation, analysis, defense, and testimony on lien cases at the Division of Workers' Compensation ("DWC") lien hearings in accordance with regional office/corporate policies.
As a Senior Legal Lien Representative / Legal Lien Representative, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by handling, defending, litigating, and resolving workers' compensation liens.
State Fund's Legal Lien team has some of the most experienced workers' compensation legal lien representatives with decades of lien litigation experience. We defend cases aggressively, using a collaborative, thoughtful, and targeted approach that is always designed to serve our clients' best interests. Whether you want to use your experience to teach and train, or embrace opportunities to learn and grow, the Legal Lien team is a great opportunity for you.
Location:
The Legal Lien team appears at multiple Workers' Compensation Appeals Board district offices throughout California. This is a statewide position, and it is anticipated that the successful candidate will serve in either the Greater Bay Area in Northern California (specifically in the San Jose, Santa Rosa, Oakland, and San Francisco locations), and Southern California. However, the successful candidates might be assigned to appear at other Boards and locations as well.
To facilitate local in-person hearings, the successful candidate will be expected to attend some hearings and other calendar commitments in-person.
