Invoicing Specialist

The Invoice Verification Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of invoices before processing payments. This role involves reviewing invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal departments and vendors to maintain financial accuracy and compliance with company policies. The role will also be part of the logistics team and assist with documentation, operational tasks, and other needs the logistics team has.

Responsibilities :

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts to ensure correct billing.
• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies, working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
• Process approved invoices for payment within designated timeframes.
• Maintain accurate records of invoice verification activities.
• Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting by providing necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing invoice-related information.
• Continuously improve invoice processing efficiency through automation and best practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
