Job description

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects

You've never been satisfied with "good enough." You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you'll do exactly that. You'll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we're transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future.

Because "good enough" builds the past. You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.

The work:

  • Establish a strong relationship with the client to support repeat business opportunities.
  • Analyze, understand, and become fully familiar with all contract documents, including plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
  • Assist with preconstruction services, including constructability reviews and cost estimating.
  • Oversee the administration of project processes such as submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and change management.
  • Facilitate assigned project meetings.
  • Review pay applications to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Review all change order requests to confirm proper documentation, timely submission, and inclusion of direct costs, overhead, profit, and time extensions.
  • Review contractors' baseline schedules to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Identify changes during construction that may affect cost or schedule and ensure proper documentation is provided.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of progress reports, performance and completion reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and claims documentation.
  • Coordinate with the project team to develop and implement solutions to field issues.
  • Conduct change order negotiations.
  • Complete all project close-out activities.
  • Review and approve Accenture I&CP invoices for professional services when required.
  • Manage Accenture I&CP's contract with the client as needed to ensure scope and budget compliance.
  • Delegate appropriate authority to project team members so they can fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Direct the training and development of Accenture I&CP personnel, motivating staff to support company growth.
  • Notify senior management of any event that could significantly impact project completion, profitability, or the client relationship.
  • Assist Accenture I&CP marketing staff with RFP responses, proposal preparation, and presentation participation.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

Here's what you'll need:

  • B.S. or higher degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • PE licensure and/or CCM holder
  • 5 - 8+ years of experience in inspection, preparation of claims files, documents and reports, and assisting in the preparation claims or claim response

$110,000 - $130,000 a year Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. We accept applications on an ongoing basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

We believe that no one should be discriminated against because of their differences. All employment decisions shall be made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law. Our rich diversity makes us more innovative, more competitive, and more creative, which helps us better serve our clients and our communities.

Accenture is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.

Accenture is committed to providing veteran employment opportunities to our service men and women.

Accenture I&CP offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; basic life and AD&D insurance; short- and long-term disability; a 401(k) with employer match; health savings and flexible spending accounts; paid time off and holidays; paid maternity and parental caregiver leave; adoption and surrogacy assistance; supplemental insurance plans; an employee assistance program; legal resources; and identity theft protection.

Benefits eligibility may vary by state, country, and role. Please connect with your recruiter for more information.
