Position:

• CDL- A Local Driver (Oregon) R2 Contractors is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL- A Driver to support construction operations throughout Oregon.
• This is a local driving position , allowing drivers to be home regularly while playing a key role in transporting heavy equipment and materials to project sites across the region.
• With occasional OTR trips.
• What You'll Do Safely transport heavy construction equipment and materials to and from Arizona job sites.
• Operate a variety of CDL-class vehicles, including lowboy trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy-haul equipment.
• Assist field crews as needed at project locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Load, secure, and transport equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation requirements.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Qualifications Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material-handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Compensation & Benefits $22-$32 per hour , DOE.
• Paid Time Off (PTO) Employer paid for- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for the entire family. 401(k) with company match. 5-Year Employment Appreciation Bonus.-$25K Schedule Full-time Monday - Friday Occasional schedule flexibility based on project demands.
• What types of tractors do we operate?
• We have 3-4 axle Kenworth T880s and 3 Peterbilt 579s for our sleeper trucks.
• We run dump trucks, water trucks, a transfer, a tub, and 2 belly dumps.
• We also run some step deck and lowboy as needed locally.
• What trailer configurations and equipment do our drivers typically haul?
• We run step decks and lowboys up to 10 axles.
