Job title:

• Driver Reports to: Plant Manager Supervisory responsibilities: None Summary/objective: Steel Craft Technologies is looking for a Driver to join their Belmont, MI team.
• The Driver must hold a Class A license or Chauffeur (Class B) license (with a valid medical card).

The Driver will be responsible for making pickups and deliveries as directed by management. Essential functions:

• Follow all safe and legal over the road trucking practices and guidelines Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management. Keep work area clean. Candidate must be willing to work nights, come in early and stay late as needed. Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours. Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required. Required competency, education, and experience: Candidate must possess a valid and appropriate driver’s license that legally requirements of this position (Class A or Chauffeur) Candidate must have valid medical card Candidate must have high school or equivalent education. Candidate must have full use of all limbs. Candidate must be able to read and speak English. Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds. Work environment: Manufacturing environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. Physical demands:

• Frequently required to sit, talk and hear Constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Position type and expected hours of work: Full time.
• This is a day shift position.

Typical hours are 6 AM to 2:

• 30 PM, but overtime may be required depending on the project.

• Travel is primarily local.
