Description : Under the supervision of the Director of Business Services and Operations, will be responsible for performing cleaning and custodial duties to protect / preserve buildings, equipment, and furniture.

Job Summary : 4 hours / day; 5 days / week; 260 days / year

  • CH-UH Bus Depot 2 hours / day
  • Wiley School 2 hours / PRN

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma. Works skills substantiated by training and / or relevant work experience.
  • An acceptable score on a pre-employment skill test may be required.
  • Ability to lift / move items weighing 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
  • Collects, records and maintains data accurately. Applies basic mathematical concepts correctly.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines / procedures.
  • Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Reacts to interruptions / emerging priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrates evidence of appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (i.e. reading comprehension, written / oral communication, mathematical reasoning / application, etc.).
  • Embodies high ethical standards / integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions / conduct.
  • Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
  • Meets all mandated health screening requirements.
