Cleaning services [h1.location_city]

This is a part-time position, working 25 - 30 hours per week in the evenings, Monday thru Friday.

Basic Function

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and grounds by performing various cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

Building Maintenance

• Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
• Replenish bathroom supplies. Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Clean and disinfect lunchroom sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Occasional scrubbing, waxing, and polishing of floors.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to the disposal area.
• Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, using a vacuum cleaner (hip or backpack).
• Report any maintenance requirements such as light bulb replacements, leaking wash basins, etc. to the supervisor.
• Comply with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials / equipment necessary for the performance of tasks.
• Replenish break room supplies and replenish copier paper.
• Wash walls and woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.
• Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
