Job description

SUMMARY:

  • The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, flow of correspondence, as well as additional clerical duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 1.
  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
  • Transfers calls to voice mailbox when associates are unavailable. 2.
  • Responsible for daily night service activation and deactivation. 3.
  • Prepares invoices for mailing by matching packing slips to invoice. 4.
  • Greets and directs visitors to the company. 5.
  • Retrieves and forwards messages left in general mailbox to proper personnel 6.
  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information. 7.
  • Assist in verifying credit references for new accounts and provide references for existing customers. 8.
  • Sort and distribute mail 9.
  • Call Fed-Ex (Express pick-ups) 10.
  • General Customer Service Support. 11.
  • Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities such as filing and related tasks.
  • QUALIFICATIONS 1.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. 2.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills. 3.
  • Must have strong organizational skills. 4.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. 5.
  • Able to work collectively with entire office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1.
  • Required to sit for approximately 90% of day. 2.
  • Stooping or bending approximately 10% of day. 3.
