Client Advisor

Seattle, WA

At Freestone, we believe in making a meaningful difference by focusing on what truly matters to our clients. With a 26-year history of consistent growth and success, we are an independent wealth and asset management firm with over $14 billion in assets under management. We offer a unique platform, a strong brand and reputation, and the opportunity to grow exponentially in your career.

If you've sourced, developed, and maintained client relationships but feel limited by your current firm's growth, culture, or resources, we offer a better long-term home where you can thrive. We help our advisors with growth through a number of channels including seeding with existing clients and through our SAN and other channel partners in addition to supporting their organic growth efforts. Our fee-only, holistic, client-first model offers transparent, formulaic compensation with substantial upside potential.

  • Collaborate with internal and external advisors (CPAs, attorneys) to craft holistic, tailored wealth plans.
  • Lead and manage review meetings with your clients to ensure the objectives, goals and planning needs are up-to-date and aligned.
  • Utilize the comprehensive resources available including our robust investment team, wealth planning, trust and estate, client service, legal and compliance, business development, and marketing team.
  • Mentor, coach and develop junior client associates and emerging advisors who support your clients.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • CFP or industry designation strongly preferred; S65 or equivalent required.
  • 5 - 15+ years of experience in investment management or financial advisory services, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A self-driven, proactive mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive, transparent compensation model with tremendous upside.
  • Depending on your level of experience and circumstances:
    • A competitive starting base salary of $125,000 $150,000.
    • For advisors who bring clients, compelling compensation structures will be discussed based on revenue projections.
  • Comprehensive support and resources including our robust investment team, wealth planning, trust and estate, client service, legal and compliance, business development and marketing team.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, 401(k) matching, life and disability insurance, parental leave, and flex spending.
  • Generous paid time off17 days of vacation, plus 10 paid holidays, Summer Fridays.
