As a Seasonal Tax Manager within our Private Client Services, you will utilize your expertise at a critical time to support our clients effectively, while enjoying the backing of a dynamic and engaging team. The Private Tax practice at EY is expanding, focusing on serving privately held companies and their owners and families, from family-owned businesses to private equity owned companies. These clients share a common thread : they are high-growth private enterprises.

Your key responsibilities include :

Strategically prioritizing multiple complex projects.

Influencing and questioning existing processes with confidence and curiosity.

Producing technical writing and tax research.

Reviewing complex tax returns with high quality.

Handling High Net Worth and Individual Tax Returns, and complex partnership compliance.

Navigating federal and state personal and trust income tax.

Understanding estate and wealth planning thoroughly.

Researching tax issues and developing effective tax planning strategies.

Comfortably working in a remote team environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have :

Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership.

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance for private individuals, partnerships, and / or S Corps.

Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Ideally, you'll also have :

A proven track record in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid-tier firm.

• The salary range for this position is $90 / hour to $120 / hour, based on a variety of factors including education, experience, skills, and geography.
