Who We Are

At Select Specialty Hospitals, a division of Select Medical, we care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Select Medical employs over 44,000 people across the country and provides quality care to tens of thousands of patients every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work with physicians, discharge planners, and patients' families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post-surgical stay by utilizing your strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

  • Perform clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsel with patients' families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.

  • Partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre-admission and transfer process through removing payer-related and operational barriers for patients getting into our highly effective level of care.
