Palm Health Resources, a premier healthcare staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a permanent position in Southeastern, VA. This opportunity involves treating Adult patients, in a Psychiatric inpatient setting.
Location Highlights : Southeastern, VA offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural attractions, and a vibrant community. Experience 4 seasons, multiple outdoor activities, state parks, etc. Arts, Enjoy a relaxed lifestyle in this Family Oriented community.
Position details :
- Position type is Permanent full time
- Patient population 18 plus
- Active Virginia License preferred but not mandatory
- The group prefers a candidate with experience but would consider a NEW GRAD
- Duties include histories, prescribing medications and providing patient education
- Schedule is 7 on and 7 off with a 7a-5p schedule
- Must be able to work with autonomy at times but there will be Physicians and other NPs on staff
- Patient volume is 8-12
- Benefits package includes health, dental, vision, bonus and retirement plan
