[job_card.job_description]W ork with the loan operations team to review and collect items required for closing, disbursing, and servicing highly complex loans. The loans may be related to small business, commercial real estate, construction, or consumer lending. Prepare relevant loan documents for closing new loans and for renewals, extensions, or modifications of existing loans. Communicate with clients, customers, outside agencies, etc., to gather all important information, research the underlying problems, and respond promptly to inquiries. Adhere to the bank's processes, procedures, and policies to maintain continuity and integrity of files. Draft the final loan documents that include proper terms and conditions as defined within the approved credit memo. Ensure that loan fundings are conducted within the assigned limits. Ensure compliance within loan documents for commercial and consumer loans. Prepare disclosures and closing documents for consumer loans, including vehicle loans, HELOC, consumer construction, and bridge loans. Process and review the perfection of collateral for real estate, business assets, vehicles, etc. Ensure that all the documentation has been updated appropriately in the system to maintain file integrity. Review paid loans and process files to release collateral and close out files. Assist with the review and processing of adverse actions. Identify signs of unusual or suspicious account activities and make recommendations to minimize the risk factors. Monitor ongoing collection and clearing of document exceptions. 2-3 years of commercial loan operations experience in a commercial banking environment is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of LaserPro experience is preferred. Familiarity with loan-related documents, such as promissory notes, mortgages, and financials or other credit-related documents, is required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with office automation equipment, including phones, computers, and scanners, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. The ability to self-manage, set priorities, and operate with minimal direct supervision is required. Prior experience with document imaging is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The position of a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is a key position that ensures accuracy in the documentation of commercial and consumer loans for the bank.
