Clinical documentation specialist [h1.location_city]

A company is looking for a Senior Clinical Documentation Specialist Float Pool.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality concurrent and / or retrospective clinical documentation review across assigned markets

Float between inpatient units, service lines, and CDI teams based on organizational needs

Perform compliant query generation to clarify documentation impacting coding and quality metrics

Required Qualifications :

Clinical Documentation Prof. credentialed from the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists required

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's / Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of relevant experience

2 years of leadership or management experience preferred

Advanced knowledge of clinical documentation, coding rules, and CDI standards

Proven adaptability to different hospital systems and documentation workflows
