Job Description
The Lourdes Center, is seeking a full-time Clinical Counselor to serve in the Sioux Falls area. We are looking for a counselor who is passionate about integrating their expertise in the psychological sciences with the Catholic vision of the human person.
Candidates will possess at least a master’s degree in counseling, social work or related field. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed in South Dakota to practice as an LPC, LPC-MH, LCSW-PIP or Psychologist.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of clinical experience in their chosen field. The successful candidate will be a team player who is interested in using their expertise to counsel, educate and develop programs.
Counselor Qualifications / Skills :
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to integrate Catholic anthropology
- Strong clinical skills
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
SD Licensure LPC, LPC-MH, LCSW-PIP, LMFT, Psy. D, Ph. D.
3+ years clinical experience
The Lourdes Center is a Catholic outpatient mental health clinic and education center that serves residents of eastern South Dakota.
