General Description
Position Summary
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a talented, patient-centered Clinical Audiologist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality audiologic care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fitting and management as well as cochlear implant services. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment renowned for clinical excellence, innovation, and academic leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations, including diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative cochlear implant evaluations, programming, and rehabilitation services.
- Counsel patients and families regarding candidacy, expectations, and outcomes for cochlear implants and other implantable hearing technologies.
- Dispense, fit, and adjust hearing aids and related assistive listening devices, including verification and validation measures.
- Interpret test results and communicate findings to patients, families, and referring providers in a clear, compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and other clinical team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record in accordance with Johns Hopkins University and departmental standards.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, and / or educational initiatives, as appropriate to interest and departmental needs.
Work Environment
This role will involve practice at both our Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center (JHOC) and Green Spring Station clinic locations which are in Baltimore City and Timonium respectively. The position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet patient care needs across both sites.

Salary Range
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
