Job Summary :
Join Luminos Hospice, a leader in compassionate end-of-life care in Blue Springs, MO as our Assistant Director of Nurses. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional patient care by overseeing clinical departments and maintaining optimal staffing and productivity levels. Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team, patients, families, and referring agencies to coordinate personalized care plans. Your expertise will drive our commitment to quality, as you analyze and address Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) issues in accordance with hospice policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Requirements : Education :
Graduate from an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
Licensure :
Current state RN license or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Valid Driver’s License required.
Experience :
Minimum of one year (two years preferred for ACHC Accreditation) of recent hospice or home care experience as a registered nurse. Prior management experience strongly preferred.
Skills :
Proficient nursing skills aligned with accepted standards of practice. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Strong decision-making capabilities essential.
Certifications :
Current CPR certification required if patient visits are part of duties.
Transportation :
Reliable vehicle with current auto liability insurance.
